Sacred Harp - Shape Note Singing All California Convention Jan 2009
I first heard of Sacred Harp singing from a BBC Three documentary about White Gospel music I saw on Watchification a year or so ago.
This is not as good an example as the ones in that programme (my YouTube-fu is weak, today), but you get the idea. I think it would be a powerful experience to be singing your little heart out in the midst of that volume of voices.
