Humphrey Lyttelton RIP
I’ve been paying scant attention to the news for the past couple of months, and so the death of Humphrey Lyttelton back in April comes as a complete surprise to me.
The crossover between my parents’ taste and my own is fairly slim when it comes to entertainment and culture, but I have very fond memories of listening to I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue with them in the car, or at lunch on weekends.
So this news makes me feel sad and also nostalgic.
I wish I had listened to it more while I had the chance, but I’m very grateful for the small amount of joy that he did bring me nonetheless.
RIP, Humph.
